I think he's having a laugh with the price, my old MY00 PPP'd, uprated brakes (fiat turbo calipers, AP 308mm discs on a floating setup), a/c (1k option) etc etc etc (all tasteful mods) went for under 5k with fssh and 46k on the clock and 2 owners in sonic blue, he will be looking at more 3.9k-4k in reallity on a 10 year old car, damn thats only 500 quid short of what my 28k miles v5 STi type R cost me!

so?
Ummm.. i'm failing to see why you're pointing out what you paid for your cars? No one cares and you're just taking down the value of them telling everyone you paid blah blah ammount, that just makes you idiots surely? If you aren't interested in the guys car, just keep your mouths shut.

I have £5k burning a hole in my pocket rite now... I'm looking for a white type r, 98 or even 97... sounds like you got yourself a bargin there Tony!
I'm trying to find the extra £1k that this guy wants... Gorgeous STi Type-R i've seen some type r's, but this is just WoW!
I was thinking more like £3500 on the car... I've seen some very clean 98 STi's with around 60k on the clock going for one or two hundred over £4000.
I dont mean to talk the price down, but good luck on the sale!

I think the above say it all. My 96 Impreza only made £1900 on eBay, and it stands me in a lot more than that. Think he may want to lower the price to a more realistic £3900 and be willing to accept around £3300-600. Now the new impreza is out, the Hawkeyes have bcome more affordable and what with the second hand car market as it is Classic's are suffering a price drop.
