'97 WAGON WRX 281 BHP.
hi all,i have a 1997 subaru impreza wrx wagon, import model, subaru uk confirmed bhp to be 281 when i quoted vin/engine number, unsure if its still fitted with jap restrictor as i've not pushed it past 90ish,silver body, silver alloys, owned for about two years, unfortunately bout a month after buying it i crashed my bike, wrecking my back & hip,so sports bikes & low cars with bucket type seats became a big no no for me. ,so its pretty much sat on the drive for bout 18 months, with my wife taking it out occasionally just to keep it charged up (always starts first time).
car is in very good overall condition,is fitted with an approved immobiliser (unsure of make without checking),current milage is approx 155000km,it has mot 'til late sept '09,but no tax as is currently on a sorn .
reason im selling it is my marriage is now on the rocks & unfortunately when my marriage went down the crapper so did my job(that'll teach me for working for the in-laws) ,so pretty much selling all i own to fund a trip to the states to see family.
car has a very small oil leak, had it checked recently and was told its prob the rocker cover gasket, apparently a common fault thats easily remedied, just dont have cash or time to sort it myself, but loses only tiny amount of oil.
i have advertised this elsewhere for £2500 but would accept £2000 for a quick sale...........exscuse if i've waffled on a bit,not online much so if you need any more info u can also call me on 07780597085,car is situated at my home in se kent/romney marsh.

hi all, when i bought this the wife bought me a nice cd player to replace the standard jap market one that was in it (which is back in it),stereo in question is a kenwood kdc-w7301,this was rated as the mutts nuts by various mags at the time, superb sound & loads of features such as will tell you how many g's you pull on corners etc etc......& it cost her £400 at the time........anyway i removed this from the subaru with the intention of keeping it for my next car when i return from the states seeing as its only had about 2 hours use........but seeing as i might not be coming back im now offering this with the scooby for the full asking price of £2000.

If you send me some pic's I'll post them up for you. Ebay will be even worse, classics are two'a'penny there. Hang in there, if it's as good as you say it'll sell.

hi all, apologies to anyone who pm'd me & got no reply..........health problems meant i kinda dropped off the radar but on the mend now.........
i still have the scooby but as you can imagine it hasnt been used for a long time, as my current situation means i cant afford to insure/tax etc i need to shift this asap, as such im prepared to let it go for the knockdown price of £1000.
she starts first time & stil sounds amazing.
given that im letting this go at such a low price, please dont make silly offers............cheers...........mark
