Im putting this advert up for a guy at work who is selling his subaru due to getting a company car so doesn't need to subaru anymore

Hi all,

I'm putting my subaru up for sale as I have ordered a company car through work and with the baby arriving I need all the money I can get. I don't want to sell the car as I love it to pieces but needs must.

Ive had a think about the price of the car and spoke to a few people and i'm going to ask for £6490 ono for the car now because it is a very clean example of a wrx and the condition the is in mint and the spec is good aslo. It has MOT until Dec 08 and Tax until 30th Sept 08.

The car is a 2001 WRX in Mica Red (Rare I believe). The mileage is 69k and it has got full service history. It has been serviced at 4k-5k intervals and been well maintained. The interior on the car is very clean with no tears or rips. The alloys have a few scuffs on them but that was down to the previous owner. The body work on the car is very good, there are a few stone chips but they can't be helped. The engine runs fine and boost holds perfectly. has had all the diffs were replaced in the last year. I have bought 2 new brake discs for the front but haven't fitted them but they will come with the car aswell. Also the private plate is not on the car anymore, its on the orginal plate.

Just a quick note.....No silly offers as £6500 is well priced for a WRX with this spec and condition. Pistonheads classified will back that up

 

Please confirm exact date of manufacturer please as i dont want £400 tax bracket

 

Date of 1st Registration was 7th December 2001,Its in the high tax bracket but its not £400, its £310 for the year starting next year

The car is STILL FOR SALE. The lad who wants it has told me that he has to wait until Friday before he has a decision so I have told him its back up for sale.
