Subaru Impreza STI RA v2 White (new engine!)
For Sale is my Subaru Impreza STI RA v2. I bought the car as a standard STI RA. I am the first UK owner.
I had planned to use the car as a fast road weekend car with the occasional trackday, but due to a change in circumstances and family commitments, the vehicle is now unfortunately for sale. The details of the car are as follows:
Vehicle Summary
•Subaru Impreza
•Model – 1996 STI RA v2 in White
•Mileage – 49,950 (closed deck engine, has only covered 1,500miles)
•MOT until June 2008
•4 months tax
•Chassis Code - GC8C4DD
Engine
Fully re-built closed deck STI, rebuilt by API Impreza including the following new parts:
-Crank, bearings, forged alloy pistons and rings
- Overhauled cylinder heads
- API modified oil pump
- Cam belt, gaskets, oil filter
In addition, I have replaced the fuel filter, air induction filter and 4 coilpacks
Ported exhaust headers
Performance Decat downpipe
Stainless exhaust system
Transmission
DCCD adjustable diff control, close ration gearbox.
Front gearbox seal replaced by API
New Exedy clutch
New Fully lightened flywheel
Brakes / Wheels / Suspension
New brakes all round:
- AP 6 Pot Front callipers, 330mm disks, flexi hoses
- Rear vented disks and pads
17 Atec ultralite alloys (like new) good tyres all round
Prodrive Bilstein Shocks / Eibach springs like new, camber bolts
STI strut brace
Interior
STI interior, very clean
OMP racing suede steering wheel
Bodywork
Very clean for year, front bumper just been re-sprayed, all over tidy up
Later spec rear bumper
STI Rear lights
The car has only covered 1,500 miles since I purchased the vehicle, all new parts listed above have covered the same mileage. Engine has only just been run in. Car is dry stored.
The car has just had a filter and oil change after the running in period. I have nearly all the receipts for the parts or work that’s been undertaken on the vehicle which stands me at a small fortune. I have also taken pictures of the car during various stages of the project. The work undertaken has been either done by myself or API Impreza.
In general, a very tidy RA that's had all the necessities sorted and more. Would be an ideal fast road, track or a basis for a competition car. Majority of the parts have been either upgraded or replaced.

I love this car 
and if I was not thinking of selling mine and going for a diesel 
I would snap it up. It's hard to find a nice ra for this price but with an added guarantee of having an engine rebuilt by API, AP 6pots and the perfect road going set up of Bilstein and Eibach.
