Default MY03 WRX SL Silver Wagon 1 owner FSH 337HP

Hi all,

After 7 years in the UK I have decided to move back to my home country of OZ as my father is very ill. As a result I need to sell my much loved 2003 WRX SL which has been beautifully modified by Andy Forrest and Power Engineering.

The basis for the mods was to get max HP without loosing reliability or drivability. The mods are as follows:

Andy Forrest TD04 Hybrid Turbo
Harvey Smith's Wrapped and Ported OEM headers
Harvey's Wrapped/ported decat up pipe
Full decat exhaust (not super loud but nice!)
ECUTEK Tek3 ECU running a safe 1.3 bar (tuned by Power Engineering)
STI Intercooler & modded scoop (still WRX but modified to accept STI Intercooler properly)
STI Pink Injectors
Walbro 255 Uprated Fuel Pump
Polyneurophane Intercooler Piping
Uprated Atmo Blow off valve

The setup gives the car 337HP (without octane booster) with fabulous spool up (full 1.3 bar at 2900rpm) which delivers great low down torque of 313 ft lbs/424 Nm at 3000rpm(ish) with bugger all lag. The torque and power curve is superb with power staying up to redline and torque staying fairly much constant. Most drivable WRX I have owned (and I have owned a few!). I could have gone for max HP but decided the car should drive well too, so I went for the Andy Forrest TD04 Hybrid - great turbo! If you are looking for massive zap with good driving charactistics, this is the car for you.

All work has been performed by Power Engineering including an expensive geometry track and loads of rolling road work for the hybrid turbo.

In respect to the rest of the car, it is:

2003 5 door wagon
1 owner
Manual
64000 miles (mostly highway driving London to B'ham)
FSH (including the very expensive 50k & 60k service - all belts, fluids, spark plugs etc)
Near new tyres
Good brakes
New aircon regas & belts
Tracker 'life of vehicle' satellite tracker

As it is the SL model it also gets Full leather interior, heated seats (which are great) and electric sunroof. It also has all the standard WRX bits like climate control, airbags, cd player, electric everything, gunmetal grey 17 inch alloys bla bla bla.

6 Months MOT & Tax as well as all the standard bits including turbo, exhausts etc and in particular the centre cat for your MOT each year (very simple change - does not require other cats for passing emissions test).

Bodywork wise it is silver with barely a scratch on it. It has been in no accidents what so ever. Unfortunately I am at work and unable to post photos or torque curve on photobucket etc but can send via email on request.

This really is a very good car and I wish I wasn't selling it. The car is owned outright with no HP or anything on it. Although driven spiritedly, the car has never been thrashed and has a perfect original gearbox and clutch to prove.

I am looking for offers of around £9500. Considering it has many ££ on mods, I am hoping this is a good price for a fellow enthusiast wanting a good car.

Give me a call on 07942372694 if you are interested. I am based in South-West london.

Lachlan.

As I want to sell this quickly, I am now willing to entertain offers around £9000.

C'mon guys this is a really good car - someone must want it! Make me an offer.

Thanks mate - I have had some interest so here's hoping.

Peak power isn't everything, it's all about delivery.... Plus you don't have all the gearbox problems to worry about!

mmm - I am really hankering after a Classic STI Wagon for couple of grand less but this is starting to get tempting as sick of not having a car.

Shame you are at the other end of the country tho
