As some of you know on Wednesday my gorgeous STI developed a loud knocking sound indicating Big end failure, this has not been confirmed but after speaking to a few people its likely to be the problem.
Now i can't afford to get the car striped and inspected so unfortunelty for me i only have 2 options.

1/ To sell the car whole, it runs but knocks and would need to be trailered away, this is a genuine v1 STI with only 200 being made, this one is number 122, if you have the time and money you could resurect this animal.



MODIFICATIONS

Standard equipment includes:

• Walbro fuel pump
• Graham Goode stainless exhaust (a very expensive system approx £800 i beleive)
• Exidy organic clutch
• 17" Dare alloys, 215x40x17 tyres (hardly worn)
• Locking wheel nuts
• Blitz SUS induction
• Blitz BOV
• Remapped with 'Scooby' ECU to 1.1 bar
• Clear indicators & side repeaters
• Subtle aftermarket front splitter, grill, skirts and rear bumper
• Toad Ai606 with locking and full closure
• Air con removed
• Boost and narrowband AFR gauges in A-pillar mount
• Apexi RSM mounted on steering cowling
• Privacy glass to rear doors and tailgate

Also just fitted uprated grooved discs and Mintex Xtreme pads less than 50 miles ago.

Can you pm me the engine.gearbox and chassis number? All on the plaque on the passenger side wing under bonnet. Also can i come and view it?
