hi i have the above car 4 sale its a 1998 2 door wrx ra v limited model number (gc8e27d)with roof vent in rally blue its totaly standerd apart from new wheels and bigger spoiler it is taxed and m.o.t till end of feb 08 it has done 57,000 miles any work that has been done has been done by a.p.i engines who i brought the car off about 3 years ago im looking for 7,200 ono

Looks like a V4 Sti Type R to me.

I thought all Type-Ra's were 4 door & all Type R's (2 door) were Wrx Sti.

i had a little look at this car the other day it looked nice .

 

i,m intrested in buying it and the gc8 number does not match model , i,ve never heard of a 2 dooor type ra

so if i,m gonna spend £7000 on the car am i not entitled to ask questions

Think you'll find that the RA designation means Race Altered and although its a 2 door its not an STI Type R. Does it have DCCD?

For example its unlikely its got a red top engine. These are very rare and I've only ever seen one before now - during a heated debate in General of all places.

Do you have better pics of the shut lines for the doors? One looks wider than the other.
