The car was a Japanese Auction Grade 5A last October 2006.
What does this mean? is this along the lines off a insurance banding after a repair.

Yes, grade 5A means immaculate, undamaged condition. its one of the highest gradings for a second hand car at a Japanese auction. Most are graded 4 or 4.5. Accident repaired ones are usually graded 'R'. Many accident repaired JDM's are in the UK, usually the one's without any history at all, and no auction grading evidence either.

My car came from Dicksons of Dunblane.

Thanks Scoobyboy, I think it's generally a slower market with these type of cars. I'm not really in a rush to sell, I suppose it's more impatience. I will hang on for the right money.

Regards
Greg

Its a nice car by looked at the pics, but i think is bit expensive,14k for a 2003 JDM sti.If you want to sell, you have to come down a bit.I think 12k is a fair price to sell.

Thanks Pippyrips,

This guy doesn't know what he's talking about, and I have a sneaky feeling he's someone I had a debate with a couple of days ago on Ebay, who insisted on wanting my address and the registration number of the car to come and see it, and also HPI it, when I asked him for his full name and contact number, he refused, then several emails later said he's not interested! Bit nutty really. It certainly sounds like him, and it's very strange that someone signs up to Scoobynet as a newbie just to tell me as a 1st post that he thinks my car is overpriced!
