Question What price? W reg Impreza Uk rebuilt and upgraded

Thinking about selling my Uk 4 door in DBM. It's a bit of a tricky one as there's been a very recent rebuild and engine upgrade and as far as I know there hasn't been anything similar for sale recently.

W reg uk turbo 4 door in DBM (facelifted colour coded)
90ish k
3 former keepers
air-con
multi cd player with amp
scoobysport backbox
droplinks
16" gold sti wheels
full rebuild by API with warranty remaining
new brake discs and pads
clutch and g/box checked @ rebuild and found to be in VGC

320 bhp upgrade, also by API inc

ported heads
vf35 turbo
Walboro fuel pump
Ecutek
lightened flywheel
MAF
decat down pipe

Receipts for work totalling 5k rebuild and upgrade alone.

Prior history all included and stamped, balance of MOT and tax remaining.

Bad points, front needs respray due to stone chipping, a heat shield rattling somewhere de-accelerating at about 1.5k revs.

Mechanically the car is in VERY good nick. What kind of price am I looking at for something like this? Am wanting an Elise 111.

You're generous

Anyhow, up on pistonheads for 7,495. Seems about right considering the prices of other Imprezas. A snip for a very well sorted car.

£7495? seems a bit over priced, especially with 90k on the clock.. I know you have rebuilt the engine and box but as a prospective buyer I wouldn't look at it at that money.

not putting your car down, just commenting & i hope you get a quick sale.

all the best

Well if I was to get another classic I wouldn't get one unless it had a knackered engine or a very recent rebuild by a proper garage, and I'd expect to pay top end for a nice example. The price is not set in stone, I'm open to offers. If the car doesn't sell, I'm not that bothered TBH I'll just keep it for another few years

Yes it has done 95k but everything is in good working order, rebuilt or replaced at considerable expense. I'd bet mechanically it's in a lot better nick than cars half the mileage.

It needs a clean Will get proper pics when I have the time.
Just had a sniff on the Autotrader and there are loads of UK classic cars listed for more than what I want

looks very clean under the bonnet.. looks like its been rallying on the outside

me personally I wouldn't pay more than 5.5k for your car, but then I'm sure you will get better offers than that. for 7.5k you are getting into Type R money or atleast STI v5 with low miles and mint bodywork, hence my maths..

looking forward to some more pics & free Bump!

LOL rallying, nope, just up and down the M1 15 miles each way commuting. I really should have just had a standard rebuild as I've rarely used the power, especially as most of my commute is a 40 mph area with the roadworks
