Default Stunning MY03 JDM STI Twin Scroll - SOLD

For sale is my superb MY03 JDM STi v9!

She is having her first MOT this week and will have a full service next week, then she will be ready for the new owner.

Quite simply put this car is fantastic, it is the best car I have ever owned. It looks, goes and handles superbly and has been VERY well maintained.

This car was imported brand new into the country, by Iain Litchfield. So there are no previous owners outside the UK. All SVA work was carried out by Iain / Power Station, including the car being fitted with a RAC Trackstar unit.

After coming into the country it was owned by Nito for 7 months, who was another fastidious enthusiast owner. I have owned the car since, and in that time only my wife and I have been behind the wheel. Anyone who has been in this car, will testify to its condition, maintainence and performance.

It has NEVER seen a track.

This car has ALWAYS been mapped for UK SUL fuel.

Currently the car is mapped to run a mix of Optimax and Octane Booster and is around the 360bhp/360lbsft mark. I will throw in the bottles of NF race I have left (6 presently I think, enough for 12 tanks).

Currently on the car are the index plates *9 WRX, valued at £1000.

This car has always been warmed up and cooled down correctly and has never been over 4k revs until the oil is up to temp. I even have a warmup and cool down road that I always use, no matter where I am going, which can mean driving 4 miles in the wrong direction, just to make sure the car is warmed up properly!

HPI clear, never crashed, not on finance.

This may not be the cheapest MY03 JDM STi, but it is about the best.

No insurance = no test drive
No abuse/comments on car or price, any such posts will be deleted.

Why am I selling? Simply I am not getting any use of out of it. I do not HAVE to sell, I love this car and it will break my heart to let it go, however I have only done about 900 miles since January

PX? Hmmmmm Not sure, may consider a pocket rocket / hot hatch. Certainly nothing over about £2500- £3000.

Car located in East Sussex.

Surprised to see you have still got the car Nathan. If I had sold my old one privately(which I did 3 days before collecting new car) before I was committed to the new car I would definately had bought this car from you.I'm enjoying the Spec C,but there is something about your car.
Someone buy it so I don't keep looking at this post

Lol - Thanks Dean

I took the car off the market for about 1.25 months as I took an extended holiday to California and the car went into storage.

Now I'm back its getting a fresh MOT + service and hopefully someone will buy the car to treat her in the lifestyle she's accustomed too.

you say its mapped for a mix of octane booster and optimax?

so it will det on just plain old opti or tescos?

maybe a remap on plain optimax might help sell it?

Im not knocking the car at all (oh and no pun intended LOL) as its absolutely stunning

It may knock, but I'm not going to try it.

I've not gone far enough down the selling road to consider having it mapped back at the moment.

Its only for sale here at this time, until its had its full service at the end of the week. Afterwards I'll open it up a bit and see what happens.

I did look at a white Spec C and loved it, but at the time, this had all the extras like A/C, which I'm especially greatful for this week

I agree though, white new age Imprezas are cool

Unhappy

Following the service, I have noticed two very minor problems with the car

The new brake pads, although EXCELLENT in feel and performance, rattle slightly when changing from forward to reverse. They don't make a noise on braking afterwards, just on the change of direction.

There is also a chip in the paintwork of the rear bumper on the number plate suround. I'm really not sure how this happened but it is about 0.5cm round. I've been told it will cost about £50 to make perfect.

Obviously these detract from the car slightly.

So if anyone wants to make an offer based on these minor points please feel free. Don't go mad, but you could be very surprised.

You'll be hard pushed to find another car like this with these mods for this price.

Nathan..

If they are EBC redstuff pads Nathan, they do rattle and need upto 1000mls to stop doing it,although mine on my old car stopped after about 500mls(Buckrogers on here advised me on this problem and was correct).
Don't lower the price anymore or I may have to get a 'His and Hers' car

They are indeed Red-Stuff Pads. Thanks for the information

Trouble is mate, it will take me a year at this rate to do 1000 miles

That is as LOW as the price goes, otherwise I will keep it.

What is the usual going price for one of these? I can't get this car out of my head. You know what I mean, do they generally go for around this price countrywide?

PM me if need be Nathan.

I've personally NEVER seen one with this level of mods go for what I'm asking. I've got no doubt someone will probably tell you they can get one for 12k tho!. lol

After having a quick look around it seems your car isn't dear at all. They are generally between 16 and 17k standard, and mostly the blue models which imo doesn't come close to the black ones.

So it seems that your car is a bargain me old china.
