Question T5-R

Any offers .....

1996 N Reg Volvo 850 T5-R 2319cc

4 Doors, Manual, Saloon, Petrol, Racing Green.

MOT - Jan 2006 Tax Expired.

ABS Brakes, PAS, Electric everything (seats, mirrors, windows, roof) Central Locking, Black Half Leather/Half Alcantara, Air Bags. Radio Cassette & CD Multi-changer. Front & Rear Spoilers.

It also has a multi changer CD and a Sun Roof.

Previously there was a fault with the Oil feed and the engine failed. Therefore it has recently had a replacement engine fitted taken from an S70 T5. This had 70k on the clock and so it is just run in as far as 2.3l volvo engines go.

I have all of the reciepts for the work carried out by CP Motors of Polesworth (Volvo Specialists) and am very pleased indeed with the workmanship & service. The previous engine had 150k on the clock and so the speedo still reports this.

This car was purchased by myself over 24 months ago with a set of very very nasty volvo alloy wheels (pics available) as i am led to believe the elderly diasbled gentleman who owned it prefered the wolf in sheeps clothing subtleness of a basic looking volvo. I have since sourced a set of T5 alloys for the car, but the R wheels are as rare as rocking horse ...... and so i have been unable to locate a set to finish the car off. As you can see tho the spare wheel is an R alloy as they origionaly were.

The car now runs excellently and is a dream to drive.

2500 - 2000 ??

Not too sure, i appreciate it's a T5-R but i only have x4 T5 Rims on it (origional T5-R spare). A bit worried about tracking down a set of rims as i may not get my money back on the sale as they are going for 5-700 with rubber.

Well it simply needs x3 tyres for a fresh MOT so i'm torn at the moment deciding upon a cheap set of allloys and tyres 16, 127 or 18's or simply x 4 Yoks for the T5 rims which are currently sitting on the car.

i guess x4 Yoks and it's up for sale at 2k, let me know guys, otherwise i got a few days to try and track down a bargain ain rims & rubber.
