Hello, This is my car (No.256) FOR SALE.

54K miles

FSSH plus receipts
Tracker
HPI and RAC inspection reports (all good!)

Recent rear discs and pads
Recent front tyres (Bridgestones)
Brand new set of genuine RB5 mats (2 fronts, 4 rears)

The car is immaculate. I have looked on the autotrader and can't see one as nice as this for similar money. I'm selling due to a change in financial circumstances and will be sorry to see the car go.

Hi Mate

Have you had any response from your RB5 advert ? I had one for sale on there and had absolutely no response and it was on ebay and no response there ... it appears that people just want them on the cheap. As such i have still got the car and may keep it.

I would be interested to know how you go ? good luck

Hi guys..

I had the same problem when i tried to sell mine before christmas.. The problem that you have is that anyone who just wants an Impreza can get a W-plate classic for around £8.5K-9K. These people are never going to pay more money for an RB5 as they dont appreciate that it is a Ltd Edn. So you are left with the choice of either holding out for a proper enthusiast who is prepared to pay the money for an RB5, or you have to drop the price, you may get someone who will pay £1.5k over the price of a PPP'd MY99 but that is probably about it.

In the end I let mine go for £10K 50K miles & mint (non Wr Sport but that wont make a massive amount of difference). Some that were for sale when i sold mine are still on autotrader now, 4 months later. I have seem ones with 90K miles up for £8750 before they sold,

I know it's not what either of you really wants to hear but it seems to be true unfortunately. I would love to buy another RB5 but I wouldnt buy one at the prices they are being advertised at cos I know if i wanted to sell one again I would either have to wait months, of take a big hit on price..

Lovely looking example by the way..
