New engine fitted & 70k service done this week
Still under warranty

Better:
Priced for a quick sale - £8750 (no offers or p/x).
This is how much I paid for it at the auctions a few months back (it was a Porsche dealer trade-in).
It now has the benefit of a brand new engine, the 70k service and new tyres.

Selling to make way for an M5 (or anything else even bigger, even faster and even thirstier!)

yeah, quick pics. I'm planning to buy a 51 3-series on monday, but a jag might be tempting...

 

Will nip home this afternoon and get some pics. Saw the invoice from Lancaster Reading to Jag HQ for the new engine this morning... £4500!

The bottom end was knocking apparently. That's all they told me.

It started making the noise, so I had it recovered to the garage. Jag quickly agreed to cover it under warranty, so perhaps it was a well-known defect on the early engines? They didn't admit to that though
