Had to let my P1 go for £12500 in the end, for what it's worth and it had 20k less on the clock, although it was due it's big 60k service, which is why I let it go cheap.

Got it shifted via Top Marques in the end, although this place generated plenty of interest, but mostly part/ex seekers.

I had those sort of figures quoted at me by a main dealer, who had the good grace to be embarassed when I asked him to call up the subaru UK website and compare the prices of the similar P1s they had for sale (sticker prices from 17-18k so purchase prices probably 14-16K)

 

no need to be sorry. the car is keenly priced. avg p1s from 15K - 19K privately. the book (?) is wrong. look at autotrader and P1woc. that is what they GO for. so higher miles will go for 12k ish. Local dealer had one the same as mine with same miles a few months ago, ropey one, no big brakes etc and £17K. so i am chilled.

 

just been called by an indie dealer in manchester 11500 cash bought unseen if I do deal tomorrow. got my number from some lad who reckons I had offered the car to a garage in manchester! He rang my old number and this is the only place I had quoted my old mobile by mistake. (now updated). Strange story. Not sure I feel totally comfortable with deal (amount and how it came about etc). wants a call back either way tonight..hmmmm! no.
