As most of you may know, I had RB5 number 378 advertised for sale a short while back, and had subsequently decided to keep her.
However, a property opportunity has arisen and it would be beneficial for me to sell the Scoob in the short term.
In light of this, I'd be looking to sell within the next 18 days if it is going to be worthwhile, otherwise I'll hang onto the car and re-assess my options.
For the full spec and pictures, click here
The car is widely reputed as being one of the nicest examples of RB5's around.
The mileage is just over 40k and it has full Subaru Service History. (10 stamps)
The car is for sale in its current state and will not be split.
Although the car is advertised for £13.5k on the link above, I am willing to listen to SERIOUS and NON-INSULTING offers!
If you like the car, then why not table an offer within reason? I can only say no, but chances are I'll probably say YES
You could pick up a serious bargain here if you have the bottle to take the plunge.
No more timewasters please.

Either it's for sale or it's not...
Good luck though whatever you decide

I'm afraid I don't fully understand your logic......

I expect to sell it by offering it for sale, and inviting sensible offers, which I WILL accept, should one come along. The fact that it is only for sale for a limited time shouldn't affect "serious" buyers. (which are few and far between)
The reason I withdrew it from sale previously is due to the fact that the car technically "sold" twice, only for the timewasters to move on and probably annoy someone else. This pi$$ed me off no end, and as part of my "spitting the dummy" I decided to keep the car.
However as you may or may not be aware, the housing market is rapidly slowing and an excellent opportunity has arisen that wouldn't be possible a few months back, making the sale of the car highly appealing.
As for whether I'll withdraw it in 18 days from sale.... the short answer is, probably. The closing date for the house is 14th October, and if we decide not to go for the property then I'll probably keep the car. Surely I am entitled to advertise and not advertise whenever I want?

Furthermore, if the car doesn't sell, and we don't get the house, then you may find it advertised for sale in the near future should another opportunity arise.
The overriding factor is, that due to the fact that I am facing a deadline, means that I am in a position to accept a lower offer than I would normally accept.

Allow me to address a few points that I have been asked by pm about the car.
The car has never had any accident damage and all the bodywork is original and minted.
The car has NO dents, no dings, no scratches or blemishes of ANY description. The bodywork is widely recognised as one of the cleanest classics around.
The previous owner was "Elmer Fudpucker" who treat the car to copious amounts of Swissol regularily. The keeper before him was "Scooby-Doo" and both chaps are Scooby enthusiasts and active members of SN should you wish to know more of the car's past.
The ONLY imperfection on the car is the usual "peppered" splitter due to stone chippings, as per every other Scoob on the planet!
The car has always been meticulously maintained and the pictures do not do it justice.
If you travel to see this car (Glasgow) and are serious about buying, then you WILL buy it!
The car has some finance on it, and for this reason, I have arranged for Ian Armstrong of Stan Palmer Subaru in Carlisle to conduct the deal on my behalf.
This way the buyer has security and peace of mind that the car is HPI clear, and they can buy with confidence. Also, Ian can arrange finance for the buyer if required.
The old cliche.... "First to see/drive will buy!"
