RB5 for sale
Subaru Impreza 2.0 RB5 4WD Turbo
**** Reduced price****Sold
1999, T reg in original condition. Number 56 of 444 sold. 4 door, manual 5 speed. Blue steel paint and Alcantarra suede. 51,000 miles. fSsh and new MOT. Great condition throughout.
Full electrics, air con, central locking, airbags, pwr steering, abs and alloy wheels. Cat 1 alarm and immobiliser. Additional Scooby Sports tail pipe available.
I bought the car from a car dealer in Essex who owned it for 12 months since registration and did 2,000 miles in it. Looked as new then and does now. Since then most of the miles have been on motorways, bit of a waste really, but it is great way to commute to work. Been fully serviced by Subaru dealers at the right mileage intervals. Selling it now to buy a more powerful version of the Impreza.
Not done many modifications, the centre pipe cat has been removed (and it still passes the emissions part of the MOT), it has a Scooby tail pipe that is currently not fitted, and it has a K&N type air filter.
Call or email if you are interested in the car…
£9,250

Oh and by the way, has anyone got a copy (video/DVD) of the recent BBC2 Top Gear show where they tested a turbo Impreza? I missed it and would really like to see it. What did The Stig make of the car round that circuit they use? I see it is still in the top 20 cars, ahead of the 911 turbo.

Couldn't see the Scoob report posted on that. Is it still there? The rest looked great though!

I am still hanging in at 9995! Not sure about the insurance group, but I guess it is at least 18. Try Tesco insurance or Direct Line, I have good quotes from both of them.
The RB5 is a standard UK Subaru and gets the same quote as other 220 HP Impreza's. I have not seen any additional surcharges for this model. The RB5 has great looks and many extras I am told were not stardard on the base turbo model in 1999.
Let me know your email and I can send you pics.

Can you send some pictures please verity@evilcrallying.co.uk
In particular I'm interested in some close up pics and please be honest about any dents or scratches - I'm ready to buy but it has to be the right car.

Good luck with the sale.
I think the dealer option is a good one. They for sure get more people looking at cars on their web sites/garages that I do on my drive!
