Unhappy RB5 #382 £12000 or near offers.

RB5 #382 is up for sale.

The RB5 spec differs from the standard MY99 with the addition of Prodrive 17" wheels, Steel blue bodywork, Blue alcantara seats, quickshift, numbered plaque, graphite centre console.

Car is standard RB5 spec except for a larger exhaust (back box and de-cat centre section - I am unsure of the make as it was on the car when I bought it).
It also has the Brembo 320mm front brake upgrade with braided hoses all round and DOT5 brake fluid.

The car has covered 34500 miles and has roughly 17months left on an extended Subaru proven used warranty. (I need to check whether this is transferable).

New Toyo's 215/45/zr17's x 4 fitted 24/1/04 and covered only 1500 miles.

Car has just been serviced 18/3/04.

Car is taxed until end Oct 2004 and MOT'd until 11 Nov 2004.

If I've done it right here is one of the few pics I have, if not more pics can be found at www.famine-online.co.uk/robertscar.html

As above I'm looking for £12k or thereabouts.
Don't miss your chance to own a low mileage example of a classic Impreza.

Sorry Ray_li, I couldn't find the original thread to reply to you.

I have posted the price I'm looking for. I am willing to consider serious offers. If this one isn't for you, good luck with your RB5 hunting.

Affirm.
I mean yes, and just serviced £478 on the 18/3/04.
And balance of 'proven used warranty'.

Come on peeps, don't make me p/ex it. You know the dealer will have it on the forecourt circa £14k. Save at least 2k, come to me.

How could I forget the lollipop?

I've been offered £10k trade straight off, so I'm looking for that little extra private.
No harm in trying though Ray_li.

why give it to the dealer and let them get richer when someone like me needs the car to buy food for my 16 babies

I can push it up another £100 or I can just keep this going up the top for you until you give in
Or i'll give you £11000 but you through in a years insurance.

Ray Li, give the man £12k and be done with it!

covered 34500 miles and has roughly 17months left on an extended Subaru proven used warranty
Good luck finding an RB with the above for £10k!

I did try Wilsons but they had sold their allocation almost as soon as the car was announced and (allegedly) have at least 10 names down on a waiting list as well!

Turned to my home town of Sheffield instead, killing two birds with one stone.
First, I get a WR1
And second, the drive back will eat up some of the running in miles

Thanks for the heads up on the autotrader prices, Mark. I will, of course, point any future owner towards the RB5oc.

No worries, Ray_li.
Enjoy whatever Scoob you get. If it's your first you'll be grinning like the now legendary Cheshire cat for months to come.

Buy this car mate, get the extra cash you need, you will not be disappointed. The RB5 comes with much more than a standard MY99 car, it will save you money on mods (if you plan to do any to your normal MY99). These cars are great. Phil (RB5 083)

Just curious, no more..

Mark, yep I checked on the warranty and it's a small admin fee (£20) payable to Subaru to tfr the warranty into the new owners name. Expiry date 18/11/05.
In addition I am just in the process of having the clutch replaced under the warranty to cure the now legendary clutch judder.

I am based in Essex, near to Stansted airport.

Thanks Blobster. Yeah, how many owners? Could you put the service dates up?

Ta,

Mark.
