Classic type R rolling shell for sale
I have for sale my 1998 type R rolling shell.
I can sell this to include or disclude various parts depending on how much the buyer wants to spend or weather he/she needs those bits.
It obviously comes with the reg documents.
In addition it comes with the private plate below......
This is worth at least £300 and also the number plates used were top quality (£61.98)
Also the car comes with the recently fitted air vent.
The shell is in great condition and has spent much of its life garaged.
I have spent a great deal of time making the car as light as possible.
All the sound deadening was painstakingly chipped away,and then i resprayed the interia sonic blue to match the car. This saved nearly 15kg's.
Also aircon has been removed saving another 15kg's.
Although this car has been prepared for track/santa pod use,i have retained all original parts like rear seats,belts,etc etc,so it can be taken back to normal if required.
At present i have left the roll cage,sti 6 rear spoiler and immaculate blob eye seats still on it,and these can be left on or taken out depending on the buyers wallet
There are also some other bits that i have taken off that can be sold with the shell.
For the rolling shell itself with the roof vent and plate im looking for around £1800 ono
Note,the engine,gearbox,diff and all brakes have been removed.
The additional parts are as folllows...........
Crystal lights collection.....£100
Perfect blob eye seats....£200
Original sti 6 spoiler...mint...£250
Cusco roll 6 point roll cage,pus additional support and door bars,all removable and just sprayed to match rest of cage...mint.....£375
Front bumper and P1 splitter. This has just been completly restored and resprayed and looks better than new,as ive had the bumper/spoiler join blended in. This has never been on the car and went straight from sprayers to my living room,so is 100% perfect.......£250....pics...........

I also have lots of spare parts that go free with the shell.
This includes 2 front wings.
These were the original that came with the car.
You may notice a slightly different shade of blue on the front wings in the pics.
This is becaue i put on Angers front wings when he broke up his RA limited classic,but they turned out to be a slightly different shade of sonic blue..............so basiclly i do have the correct shaded wings as well.

Afread not mate,as it would make the shell practically worthless without it.
I think i may have a spare glove box top in my shed of spares....will look tomorrow for you.

It is a dash dodger cage mate.
It does fit a 4 door but theres a bar that any rear passengers would have to duck under getting in.
Basiclly,its strongest with a straight bar going back to the struts,but there are 6 point cages that bend round the top of the rear door to accomidate for rear passengers....not the strongest,but easier for the rear folk.
I know of a guy who has a cage like this (i sold it to him)that i think is for sale.......around £250 i think.....cusco brand.
