Being a newbie with only 6 posts trying to sell an expensive product. It may well be worth posting some pictures of the ECU with something in the picture to prove it was taken recently.
Not saying it's dodgy. Just there's been too many scammers on here recently

Appreciate what you are sayiing. I purchased the ECU from Bob Rawle on 31/08/09 and Bob has mapped the car a few times since then. I am happy to supply the serial number if anyone would like to validate it with Bob. I am also happy to meet up within reasonable distance if that is someones preference. Rich (Fiestaboy on here) will also vouch for it and me (hopefully). Like you I am also concerned at being scammed but I can assure you and everyone else that it wont be me doing the scamming. Cash will be accepted

£650 is a really good price for this - On the Simtek site, it retails new for £1410 inc. VAT and calibration.

A custom map for this will cost you circa £300, keeping the total cost under £1k - I can't see you finding one any cheaper TBH

 

Tell ya if i'd not just purchased a Perrin FMIC i'd of snapped your hand off
