sti 9 steering wheel

I have a very good condition sti9 3 spoke steering wheel, complete with airbag, I had it fitted to my wrx ideal upgrade as looks a lot better, Want £175

presume it could be removed, but no idea if it would damage the plastic, and not sure what could be put on instead.
