Exclamation For Sale: Chromed Classic Inlet Manifold

Hi guys,

I'm selling my chromed classic inlet manifold, its an early manifold for the V2's and some V3's.

I sent it off to get mirror polished (all the orange peel casting marks removed) and then chromed. I'm not sure what happened along the way but what I asked for isn't what I got.

The inlet was only part polished. The underside and injector points were not polished (These won't be seen when it is fitted) the seems ontop of the inlet and the difficult areas behind the air mounts were not polished either. So the orange skin effect remains.

The company I then chromed over the top of it.

On the whole its a good looking bit of kit, the flat areas are nice and bright but the chromed patchs of orange peel do let it down.

It cost me a lot to get it done and I will be making a loss in selling it.

The pictures below do not capture the orange peel effect I tried but because the chrome is so bright it proved impossible.

I'd rather the buy came to collect, one to see it in the flesh and two to prevent it from being damaged in transit.

Couple of people nippling asking what sort of money I will take for it, but no offers yet. She's still up for grabs.

It owes me a lot of money far more than I'm going to recoup. £100 or near offer. Make an offer and see what I say you never know, my Misses may make me accept it, ha ha.

Yep sure will, its a early classic inlet, V1 and V2 it actually came off a 95 WRX. It can be modded to fit the later spec cars too if you fancy.

How do, I'm happy to post to denmark, not sure of the price though I'll look into that. The parcel weights just under 7kg if you want to look it up.

As for the pipe question, its a phase 1 inlet so the pipe goes behind it. I've no idea if it will fit the later set up, but I have seen this manifold on younger cars so I guess it is possible but how it is done I've no idea.

Best look that up on another thread or start a thread of your own to be sure. So one on here will know and have done it before.
