Hi, I have for sale a set of two front door cards for a 2001 WRX Impreza. They have been modified to hold deeper high power 6.5 inch speaker upgrades in purpose built leather clad speaker pods. They are in mint condition, i'm in the Peterborough area, so collection prefered.


£25 cash the pair and I will throw in the bit of Dynamat too.

Hi, how do the pods attach to the door cards?

what speakers did you have in there as well?

 

The pods don't attach to the actual door cards but are designed to anchor to the inner door skin steelwork to prevent unwanted vibrations. The door card itself is trapped between. I had some fantastic Focal 6.5" speakers in them....NO distortion what so ever came from my sound system. Here is a link to my car on our club web site.

Ok thanks for that, how do they anchor to the inner door skin then? Would I need to drill some pilot holes etc.?

Yes nut and bolt it to the inner steel door skin, I think it used existing holes so you wont make a mess of car. Then screw your speaker in after.
They are on a certain other web site for sale too!! so be quick!!
