just looked on the instructions and no it doesnt

There are two fitments and this one is the APSWRX-HFA/99 for the my99-00 only.

APSWRX-HFA/97 Suits MY97, MY98 Subaru WRX
APSWRX-HFA/99 Suites MY99, MY00 Subaru WRX and Version 5, Version 6 Subaru STI

APS High Flow Cold Air Intake System

 

would love to have this as my aps kit is looking abit tired for its self, fab bits of kit though!! (some new paint and it will be as good as new!!)

 

Isnt the inner wing a very dirty place for an air filter?

 

Not if you still have the plastic inner wing liners in place, in fact, it's probably cleaner than the engine bay!! Certainly cooler!!
