I have for sale a very low miles IHI VF28 Turbo there is no damage in any way to the turbine fins and virtually no play in the turbine shaft in fact it feels like a new turbo when thr shaft is rocked side to side. Perfect upgrade turbo for WRX owners or an excellant replacement for your VF28 that has perhaps seen better days.

so does the turbine shaft move side to side slightly ?
as i have a td05 that moves side to side a little

never fit it cos of this
if its all good then ill bang it on

Dave i think they should have side to side movement just no play up and down.

Would u get any gains with that without remapping on a 96 WRX RA ?

You will need to get it mapped to get the best out of it, the VF28 is good for 330bhp with the right mods,
But I will soon have mine off and for sale, going bigger now

 

hello, ive just bought a w reg uk turbo, standard apart from prodrive exhaust and a dump valve. would this fit my car? and would i need other mods to make the most of it? ive had 2 jap import imperza's before, but didn't do anything to them, i had a standard wrx and then a v1 sti.
