unfinished project
WILL NOW BREAK THE CAR IF THERE IS ENOUGH INTEREST!!!!MAKE ME OFFERS ON PARTS, IF ENOUGH INTEREST ILL SELL ALL OR HAVE EVERYTHING FOR 4750K ONO OR 4100WITHOUT THE POWER FC AND AVCR, THAT INCLUDES BOTH ENGINES, THE BLOWN WRX ONE AND ALL THE PARTS TO BUILD THE TYPE RA V LTD BEAST WITH UPRATED INTERNALS
OK, I MIGHT BE GIVING UP ON MY SCOOBY, ITS JUST TOO MUCH WORK AND MESSING AROUND TRYING TO SORT IT AND IM LOOSING FAITH
So What I have is …
1995 Impreza WRX import, -
INTERIOR
STI Interior (from the type RA)
Momo Gear **** (and spare nardi gearknob)
Sony flip down head unit
Tripple pod gauge Holder inplace of the centre vents, BOOST, OIL TEMP, OIL PRESSURE
Infinity Speakers all round and some tweeters
Shift Light
Power FC commander
AVCR
CHASSIS
Standard shocks and lowered springs
Front and rear strut brases
Alloy lightweight Bonnet and boot lid
Standard hi level spoiler and a Version 7 spoiler as a spare
Electric mirrors
Alloy bottom arms
WHEELS
17" 2005 alloys with 225/45/17 Eagle F1 tyres all around, rear 5m left fronts 4mm
EXTERIOR
Impreza 7 rear spoiler
Impreza 7 Scoop
Custom vents (scooped)
Front spoiler by JDM designs
Clear repeaters
Type RA rear lights (clear instead of orange)
BRAKES
EBC red stuff Pads
Goodridge braided Lines and DOT 5.1 fluid
4 pot upgraded callipers
ENGINE
Complete 2Ltr WRX engine, started to smoke as one piston has gone, needs new piston fitting, so I decided to go with a full rebuild with:
*** STI Version 3 Type RA Heads with the solid lifters, wider channels and better cams
*** Closed deck block with oil sprayers under the pistons
*** STI Crank
*** Set of oversized forged pistons
*** Eagle uprated billet rods and ARP bolts
*** Modified oil pump
TD05 turbo (and space matt and heat wrap)
Apexi power FC
Apexi ACVR
*** 300zx Twin Turbo (orange label) MAF
Hybrid front mount intercooler and pipework, with space blanket heat shielding
*** 550cc denso injectors
HKS downpipe with twin neck (wrapped)
HKS style uppipe (wrapped)
HKS S/S exhaust and full decat and 5inch tail
*** Custom steel equal legnth headers (wrapped)
Uprated HKS Plugs
*** lots of thermotec cooler heat wrap (space blankets)
Nitrous system from Wizards of NOS street blaster kit
Uprated rally Fuel Pump
brake stopper
Lightweight/underdrive pully set
Complete Silicone hose transplant
Twin cooling Fans
*** Bottom end gasket set
*** Head gasket and block gasket set (only standard head gaskets)
*** Head bolts
*** This indicates these bits are new/never fitted, just bought for this rebuild for the rebuild.
What is needed to complete the build….
• Main and big end bearings (ACL are the best to get, but cosworth ones are strong too and a lot cheaper).
• Lots of spare time on your hands
• Optional (stronger steal head gaskets)
Other things I would get if I was continuing
• Good fuel pressure regulator
• Parallel fuel rail kit
• Oil cooler kit
Bad Bits with the car:… a few trolley dents here and there, around the doors where the wind deflectors go needs respraying and the front and rear bumper have a few marks here and there (I can have the shell dent free and resprayed for about £350 though.
Good Bits with the car:…
Had new 6 paddel clutch and gearbox fitted around 5 months ago.
The engine still runs but smokey when off boost, but I havnt drove her to prevent any further damage.
With a bit of tlc on the body. And some time into the engine she has all the bits to be a monster, chuck in a garret turbo and she already has all the supporting mods to push well over 400hp safely (that means mapped right!!!)
Now I am going to keep going with this project, but slowly unless someone wants to buy the whole thing from me….could also include a full type RA gearbox, with dccd and all the bits like dash, ecu, roller switch ect ect if anyone is interested.
I will add more pics tommorow

i will if noone wants to buy it, but i never thought a rebuild would involve so much time and cost so much money, i have spent loads on new parts and i have spent so much it will take me at least 8 weeks of saving before i can get enought to finish it off...and i dont wanna be that long without a car

got loads of spare bits that can go with it too, standard brakes, spoiler, fog lights, scoops, exhaust system...oh and there are a few little bits like zero sports parts i forgot to add

how much money and how long would it take to finish this car what i am getting at how much would you take to finish it if i bought the car and you done the work also would i need to run the engine in cheers let me know as i have the cash waiting 1 more thing what bhp should i expect the engine to produce

...im rebuilding now, the engine is almost finished and getting mapped in the 1st week of december...then its just a respray, new alloys id sell then for 7k with an est 400/400 realiable power i hope

may be interested a take it the car will need to be run in how long for also where abouts are you when will it be complete and ready for sale mate thanks will the engine be reliable i was going to build a 400bhp car but if you selling this will be interested
