What dia pipe do they fit mate?

Hmmm David Wallis and JollyGreenMonster use these types, maybe they stepped up the hose size?
Also useful on the air inlet pipe to the ICSV .. if you have a Link ecu or similar!

I'd imagine DW and JGM use K+N ones, not K+N 'style' . The K+Ns actually come in three neck sizes, 13mm, 16mm and 19mm.

I'd use 13mm for breathers, maybe 16mm is better for crankcase and 19mm for ISCV.
