I'll be honest, I'm not a big fan of VTA dump valves. My car had one when I bought it but I've put a standard Subaru re-circulating one back on as that's what I prefer.

I was going to chuck this out but thought I may as well see if anyone wants to give it a try (plus I'm hoping to re-coup some of the money I spent on the re-circ one that I just fitted). It's in perfect working order and makes the whoosh noise when you change gear.

It's easy to fit/remove, it's the type that bolts directly onto the intercooler as fitted to MY99/00 UK Imprezas, P1's, JDM STI's etc.
