Default STI 6 Type R Full Drivetrain For Sale

LOTS OF UPDATES...

I have transplanted a Spec C engine into my Type R, and now have the original drivetrain from the Type R for sale.

The speedo showed 26,852 when dismantled. Since the car was imported from Japan, half of these were km and half were miles, so the drivetrain has probably done 20,000 miles - very low.

Parts included are as follows:
# SOLD STI 6 Engine
# SOLD Intercooler
# SOLD ECU & engine loom.
# SOLD All engine sensors including MAF & airbox
# SOLD Close ratio gearbox with 4.44 front diff & adjustable centre diff
# SOLD Rear diff - 4.44 drop ratio.
# SOLD Front & rear hubs
# SOLD Drive shafts
# SOLD Prop shaft
# SOLD 1 pot rear brake calipers & discs.
# SOLD Dash cluster including centre diff display
# SOLD Centre diff controller and slider control.
# SOLD Rear subframe
# SOLD Wheels
# SOLD Exhaust
# SOLD Springs
# SOLD 2 pot front brake calipers & discs.

STILL FOR SALE

# Front STI alloy wishbones
# STI quick steering rack
# Radiator

Please post your offers on the BBS. It saves me posting back to tell everyone what the current highest offer is.
Thanks

##### I am not willing to split the items at the moment, since it would make the remainder harder to sell. Sale is for all items. #####

However, make me an offer. If I do end up splitting them, I'll let you know.
I'll assume the offer is for 4 discs and 4 calipers.

Sale also includes the full exhaust. Was originally missed off the list at the top.

Stephen
I have a MY99 Uk car running a WRX RA box and diff (non DCCD) - what is needed to convert this transmission to Type R with DCCD? Box? Diff and ECU and nowt else?

Other things you'd need (but this is not a definitive list):
Dash cluster with centre diff display
Loom portion for centre diff
Diff dial.
Check you read hubs match up to the diff, or buy mine.

You need to research this. I'm just selling the parts.

If you take the lot, it is easy. If you start mixing and matching it gets complicated. That is why I am selling a complete drivetrain.

I would be willing to split the engine off, so someone could buy all except engine for example. But if I sell rear diff, I won't be able to sell rear hubs for example.

To start things, let's say 2000 pounds for engine and 1500 pounds for the rest. I'll see where the offers go from there.

I have an offer of 300 for the front discs and calipers, assuming it ends up being split.

Anyone interested in the rear 2 pots & discs ? Would make a nice upgrade for a UK Turbo.

Many STIs have 2 pot rears. But I don't think they all have the big rear diff. So are there two types of 2 pot variants then ?

only the early cars with R180 (large) rear diffs have the 2pot calipers (4door STi's normally have the std sliding caliper & little R160 diff).................
later "new-age" cars have little diff and 2pot set-up, however this is different again...........

Thanks for the info Alyn. So many variants !

Hi Wuz.
I have an offer of 1500 for those parts without wishbones currently. So you need to better 1500 and factor in the wishbones too.

Cheers

Steve

Cool M8. I don't really need the wishbones so I'll offer £1530 without wishbones.
