Hi Paul,
I've ordered an STI panel filter through the group buy (now closed) and have no particular reason for getting rid of it. It does its job fine and has not seen many miles. No track days and gently driven always - well, the last bit is bollocks but it is basically new.
I will stick the Subaru one back in until the STI one arrives.
I don't expect it to be any better but at least I'll have something STI on my car!!!
Not sure of a price - cost me £47 if I remember correctly and has a 1 million mile warranty - best in the world!!! Serviced every 50,000 miles I believe (ie cleaning).
Post free of course as we can meet up somewhere!!
How's the car doing?
Brian.

Do you have the cleaner kit with it brian.
PM with a price, (fair now, second hand goods)lol. Reason why i am interested, i took my JW panel filter out previous to the remap and the bloody thing was bogging. Maybe normal but it was only in the car for a few thousand miles. Would be nice to have a spare anyway.
Car is going fine, no complaints, fitted a strut brace yesterday, and whatever people say it defo makes a difference to cornering. Would say it reduces the understeer, but will find out for defo on tuesday if i take it on at KH. Drop me your moby no in the post brian, will give you a bell.
oh how's the springs.
Paul

I fitted a strut brace to mine but took it back off - seemed to make it a bit hard and jerky at the front end. The springs are great though but not for those in want of a relaxing long distance cruiser!! Seem to be the opposite of the STI ones - they make the WRX more pointed, firmer and involving, the STI ones seem to soften the car up, make it less bouncy etc!!!
They are worth getting. I am going to get solid rear drop links and an uprated rear ARB next.
Not sure on a price for the filter. The cleaner kit I don't have (think it's bout £10 but only needs cleaned every 50k). The one in my last car seemed always to be pretty clean even after 100k. Not sure on a price really. I'll PM you my mobile number Paul.
Glad the car is well - have you got the Prodrive quickshift?!
Can't make Knockhill or I would defo come up to see you - I am going to see Marillion @ the Barrowlands. Hope you have a good time - take the car on.
Brian.
