Talking MD304 Hybrid Turbo

MD304 Hybrid Turbo as supplied from Lateral Performance.

Turbo is a Hybrid of the VF22.

Turbo is well proven IMO on my car and others.

Recently achieved 358bhp and 337lbft at 1.35 bar at a prosport rolling road day, with supporting modifications.

Cost over £1400 new.

In good condition. Looking for £700 delivered.

having been in an MD304 equiped car I am severley tempted. I have a TD05 at the moment which I want to straight entry mod, and I already have Pace FMIC, large injectors, exhaust etc. Can't afford to spend the money though till after April 1st (tax reasons). Would you be interested in an offer and hold it for me till after the 1st? What advantage would it give over my TD05 if I had it straight entried anyway (spool up, top end etc.)?

If you really wanted the turbo, i would hold it for you, as i am in no rush to sell it.

With regards to the turbo in comparison to a FE TD05, the general opinion is that the TD05 is good for a little bit more than this turbo. ie over 400.

If you have been in a 304 equipped car, then you may recall its characteristics, if not, i get full boost of 1.35 bar in 4th by 3200rpm, and it holds that to the red line. I chose this turbo as i wanted a "lazy" driving experience, but with power, and then more when i wanted it. It has achieved that 100%.

The decision is yours, but my offer will stand.

Below is the graph from prosport (thanks to John Felstead)

Ok, no interest so far, so i have sent the turbo off for rebalancing and servicing. The turbo will be like new once it is returned.

Anyone interested, serious offers considered.
