Golf Avus II 15" alloys with new tyres £200
4 x Avus II 15" alloys wrapped with Goodyear Eagle NCT5 195/65R/15 91V tyres - £200.
These wheels came on a 2002 MK IV Golf TDi 150. The car was driven back from Germany to the UK, spent two weeks on UK roads before getting a spring upgrade and some big wheels. The 15s have been sitting in my garage, dry and without any weight on them ever since. They have done ~700 miles, there are no scuffs or dinks and you can see how good the tread is in the picture.
I am asking £200 for them which I feel is a bargain. The tyres are ~£50 each ex VAT so you are basically buying new tyres and getting the alloys for free! I don't want to get into shipping hassle for something so bulky, so I would like buyer to collect or organise a courier. As a compromise I'll travel max 20 miles from Leamington Spa in Warwickshire to meet someone.
Cheers
Matt
PS The dark blobs etc. is just water. Thought I would wash one to show how unmarked they are. Too cold to bother waiting for it to dry!

Sorry to highjack your thread, but can you tell me what you think of the car?
I might be changing jobs this year and doing a lot more motorway miles, and I have been thinking of swapping my Scoob for one of these. I hear they are very torquey and handle well, but they need the spring upgrade that you have obviously done to firm them up a bit. Cheers!

Impret-Sir: The wheels belonged to a friend who bought the Golf. I am selling the wheels because he has owed me £200 for 18 months! I've never driven the Golf but another friend has the 130TDi and he loves it. He does a lot of m/way miles and never complains. When I have been in it I've found it be be reasonably pokey and it cruises well, nice and quite too - although anything seems quiet against my Scoobs Firestorm!
That's about all I can offer, not owning one and all...
