WRC 4 POT Alcons + Godspeed 335mm Kit (to fit all Impreza's)
Complete Kit consisting of the Discs/Bells/Pads (DS2500s) and Calipers.
The calipers came off Petter Solbergs car so i'm told, they have titanium caliper pistons to aid in braking power and are a lot bigger than the standard ones. Will bolt straight on. Have been on my car for 2 months. My car is for sale, which is the only reason they are. Trying to make some money back!
Pics:
I wish to obtain a good set of standard brakes for the car as i have none to replace these when i take them off. Therefore would be looking for £650 plus standard setup. Must be in good condition.
E-mail enquiries please!

i almost got tempted by the dark side. Realised that a house and my girlfriend are more important than a piece of metal on the driveway!
I'll get another one after i'm sorted. Would only be an RB5, not interested in anything else! House, settledown, then another RB!
Cheers

Still very good of course, just not quite what you were told they were. TBH it's just as well, as WRC calipers wouldn't fit your uprights, or those discs.
Free BTT anyway.

Grease monkey , they are WRC calipers as I bought them from Prodrive when they had the rally car parts sale a couple of months ago , The are a one piece mono block caliper , the prodrive road kit is a 2 piece caliper , the WRC ones have titainium pistons the other calipers are alluminium.
I have custom made a 2 piece bracket to enable these calipers to fit the standard upright , so before you give your opinions get you facts right.
They are a WRC caliper off the WRC subaru.
Cheers Ian.

Ian, the reason I didn't think they're WRC car calipers is because I spend a little time in, around and underneath them, and that design doesn't look familiar. Apart from anything else it doesn't even look the right size.
The tarmac WRC front caliper is a six pot unit designed to accept a 366mm disc. While the gravel front/rear brake is a four pot, it's designed to fit a 305mm disc. The caliper in the pic above seems to be designed for a 330-335mm disc, hence my comment.

Ian, this is an S8 gravel caliper. AFAIAA the same design is used on the S6, S7 and S9, while the '97-99 WRC's (and the 2004 car I believe) use AP. As said, I don't profess to have seen one like the above before, is it possible that they were prototypes?

No offence intended.......
......but even if they aren't Petter Sols old calipers.......who cares?? They are a good setup at a good second hand price. I know people are going to start moaning about false advertising but at the end of the day he has posted pics and I guarantee they stop you better than the OEM brakes.
Good luck with the sale mate!

I dont know what year or what car they were used on ,but as they were bought from the prodrive rally bits sale you can bet your life they are off a WRC car , unless they were cheating and fitted them to the GpN's . those in the pics are a 2 piece caliper like the rear ones I bought at the same time ( if anyone wants a 325mm rear kit ) like I said the ones Gavin has are a monoblock one piece caliper , they have been used on gravel events because they were minging when I got them , but a recon and nice spray job and they look the dogs doodahs ..
Cheers Ian
these are the rears I got if anyone wants a rear kit , this is a one off

Possibly a prototype design that was tested but never approved for competition?
