new price of £350 cost another £350 for Bob to map it for your car. thats a saving of £70 plus you get to keep your original ecu.

I am very interested so make sure I am top of the list.

Do you have an email or number I can contact you after 9pm this evening?

I need to know a couple of things before I go ahead with the sale ie. will it fit straight onto a non modified MY99 fully standard?

Do I need to buy a new exhaust system before fitting etc.

Micka e-mail address in profile.
Tek3 ecu is an individual map to suit a car so unless it is remapped to suit your car or you had the same mods it would not be suitable. I am willing to accept £300 which would be equal to £700 for a tek 3. you would gain an additional ecu and £60. I suppose if you compare with a ppp it would be worth it.

Still some confusion regarding this...

Does a standard UK MY99 Turbo have a VF23 model or is this an upgraded Turbo?

Apologise for my technical naivety here, but am I correct in assuming that the only additional mods I would have to make to a fully standard MY99, would be to purchase a fully decatted exhaust system (£300-£400) and fit a 57i?

Is this how simple it would be or am I missing something here...?

Your MY99 has a TD04 turbo, so won't quite be the same.

Micka, If your decatting your car it advisable to go for a remap to ensure fueling is correct. the vf23 is a upgraded turbo. when I decatted mine I never got the performance benefit untill it was remapped. Personally I don't like induction kits the standard set up is good for 350 bhp with a green or k & n panel filter. the tek 3 I'm selling is one I bought in error it would not fit on my P1 (they use sti 5 ecu).

You may have more interest in the ECU if you have it flashed with Tek2 map. Costs around £50 and would make it worth £400+
