Brake pad advice guys please.

Hey chaps. need some brake pad installation advice on my blob eye. i.e, how easy is it to do myself? (I'm ok with my car, just not knowledgeable) .... what kid of decent street pads am i looking for and how much? ... these are standard subaru callipers on grooved discs.

if anybody could give me a guide on how to change my pads that would be absolutely great. or even a link would be appreciated. thanks guys.

Regarding pads best talk to Alyn of ASPERFORMANCE or Ian of Godspeed.SJ.

I'd definitely recommend Ian at Godspeed, I'm running his discs all round with his Kevlar+ pads on the back and EBC Blues on the front. Need to get around to fitting the Blues to the back too although I can wait a bit until I get the summer tyres back on. The discs are good quality and seem pretty impervious to warping/pad transfer problems although I'd suggest that if you're heavy on brakes you might want to go slightly more uprated than the Kevlar+ pads. For several heavy stops they're good but if you're doing 15+ minutes of hard driving they seem to struggle a little. Great price for the full setup and it really is an easy change, I think it took me about thirty minutes a wheel and that included cleaning up the pistons slightly.
