Pulled Over for Speeding .......

Driving past Reading on the M4 today at about 105MPH .... yes, I know ......

Anyway, pulled over by the unmarked Volvo T5 ...... the coppa came over to the passenger side window, the wife was sat there ...

As he stuck his head through the window my wife said, "I bet he tries to sell us some Thames Valley Police Ball tickets"

The coppa swiftly replied, "Thames Valley Police don't have balls!!"

He stood a while, nodded, and went back to his car and drove off ....... nice one wife!!

:lol1:

Is this the best you have to offer nowadays Pete?

Must try harder for 2014.

tony de wonderful 22 December 2013 05:14 PM

105 mph in the Honda? Downhill and the wind behind you? ;)

mrmadcap 22 December 2013 05:17 PM

He was in a hurry because the colostomy bag was full

pslewis 22 December 2013 05:26 PM

I must admit, for one moment, I thought the Scooby I had just humiliated may have been the Police

stevebt 22 December 2013 05:53 PM

As if anyone would be let off for driving over a ton just cause his wife has more balls than him :)

Give it a rest Pete, a turbo 2000 with only two cylinders could see off your smoke belcher. :lol1:

pslewis 22 December 2013 05:59 PM

I've owned both ........ the 340Nm of Scooby destroying Honda torque is mind boggling.

SJ_Skyline 22 December 2013 06:35 PM

105? :nono:

dpb 22 December 2013 06:39 PM

Probably kilometers

PhilWrx100 22 December 2013 07:26 PM

....and with all the soot being chucked out the back I'm surprised the copper could follow you to clock your speed ;)

The only way the Police Car caught up with me was when I slowed behind a Scooby struggling to maintain speed with the much lesser Torque ....................... :D

bollox

I got stopped flying past a police scooby in my clio 172 hidden away...caught up with me after about 2/3 miles, overtaking having my fun. Pulled me over chatted me up and handed me a ticket, bit lesser charge than should have got but I had my tits on show and on own. Soi doubt yr wifes fly comment sent him back to his car without writing you up. Unless the southern cops are softer.

Ah....new one....(yoda voice off) you have much to learn about the ways of the Lewis :D

ShellDay 22 December 2013 11:56 PM

Guessing gob****e?

L.J.F 23 December 2013 07:25 AM

My car produces more torque on idle than a diesel Honda but then I do have 6ltrs & 8 cylinders of Ozzie muscle ;)

I suspect this is another BS story from the old fossil but I can't smell it as the natural OAP stink of p1ss and mothballs is far too strong! :D

pimmo2000 23 December 2013 08:11 AM

My word people, it's an old joke.

legb4rsk 23 December 2013 09:58 AM

Don't listen to him. He's all torque.

You're obviously not as good looking as my wife then? :D

Is that all :lol1:

You should try 580 Nm (428 lb-ft), that can rip apart the space time continuum ;)

pslewis 23 December 2013 12:03 PM

While delivering 70mpg?

Nah, the Honda Civic Diesel .... the 'thinking mans' power trip!

I would be so annoyed if I only had that little amount of torque :D

pslewis 23 December 2013 12:33 PM

Big numbers are nothing on the real roads ...... no good being the fastest thing between traffic jams at a huge cost in fuel and other costs.
