The road works on the A43 are terrible, an absolute nightmare:eek: I'd allow an hour extra at the very least!

I wouldn't get excited about getting out either, sit tight and watch all the racing, you might aswell, it took me an hour to get from where we'd parked to the road:eek:

Went to Hinton Airfield nr Silverstone a couple of weeks ago and saw all the roadworks then.

How was the day, yesterday?

We didn't actually see the works cos we found a shortcut;) but they're putting a by pass in so I wouldn't imagine they'd be finished any time soon:rolleyes:

If I had a bike I'd deffo take it, no doubt about it! I've been pricing up a few things this morning though, so watch this space;)

Actually watching the bikes yesterday was fantastic:D I've been to loads of tracks and different events but these boys are something else, briliant:D I'd love to see the race but there's no way I could cope with the crowds:eek: The day overall was spoiled by the traffic though, roadworks.. ok I can accept them I spose, Silverstones car park is inexcusable though, IMO;)
