That looks smashing, I imagine you're on a real high at the moment.
You might like to go to your local Aldi sharpish and get some of these to stick onto your walls and help protect the doors: https://www.aldi.co.uk/en/specialbuy...oor-protector/ I've just got some for mine and they're a great idea. |

OK, after a couple of days running around, I think I am going to put the Prodrive exhaust back on (dont like the sound of the Vortex).
Previous kindly gave me the original prodrive silencer as part of the deal. So I decided to clean up the original while it was not on the car. https://i1257.photobucket.com/albums...ps860e4bba.jpg https://i1257.photobucket.com/albums...ps342b4086.jpg https://i1257.photobucket.com/albums...ps86ba52ea.jpg https://i1257.photobucket.com/albums...ps73a0591d.jpg https://i1257.photobucket.com/albums...ps8a3c4cf7.jpg https://i1257.photobucket.com/albums...pse34e8c2d.jpg |

Greetings all,
Sunny day today, no training today because I am injured, so a day cleaning the car. This is something I really enjoy doing. Take my time. Potter around the garage. The journey has started to make 284 my own. Much much much more to do, but a good start. Today I: A good day getting to know my WR1. Here are some pics: FIRST WASH https://i1257.photobucket.com/albums...ps753aa4b1.jpg CLAYED / WASHED / DRIED https://i1257.photobucket.com/albums...psd91395d8.jpg GENERAL SHOTS: https://i1257.photobucket.com/albums...psea55cff3.jpg https://i1257.photobucket.com/albums...ps167e5ce3.jpg https://i1257.photobucket.com/albums...ps90c82768.jpg https://i1257.photobucket.com/albums...ps94068443.jpg https://i1257.photobucket.com/albums...ps47179952.jpg https://i1257.photobucket.com/albums...ps22734664.jpg https://i1257.photobucket.com/albums...pse85c054b.jpg https://i1257.photobucket.com/albums...ps56d82f3f.jpg https://i1257.photobucket.com/albums...psf4737574.jpg https://i1257.photobucket.com/albums...psc5524459.jpg https://i1257.photobucket.com/albums...ps0eacd0ff.jpg https://i1257.photobucket.com/albums...psafc6f5e1.jpg |

Nice wr1. I picked up no.282 yesterday. Looks like you're doing a good job of cleaning her up. I need to do a detailing restock after switching from a red a3. Any idea where your mudflaps came from? I'd really like a set. Keep up the good work.

Alloy Refurbishment!!
Alloy Refurb
Not done too much recently, just enjoying driving her at every opportunity. However, I have recently refurbished all the alloys and put on new tyres all round. As always here are a bunch of pictures: Wheels in original condition: https://i1257.photobucket.com/albums...ps22f2b6d6.jpg https://i1257.photobucket.com/albums...ps135748f3.jpg https://i1257.photobucket.com/albums...ps5cbb1636.jpg Jacked up and wheel off to the alloy-man! https://i1257.photobucket.com/albums...ps97be4e68.jpg https://i1257.photobucket.com/albums...psede9975c.jpg Wheels back looking very nice; decided to stay with dark grey on the outside, but black on the inside: https://i1257.photobucket.com/albums...psd8e40b72.jpg https://i1257.photobucket.com/albums...ps2f9fa3f1.jpg https://i1257.photobucket.com/albums...psa9606a88.jpg https://i1257.photobucket.com/albums...psf339f8d8.jpg https://i1257.photobucket.com/albums...ps4830fdc5.jpg https://i1257.photobucket.com/albums...ps87d6e77f.jpg https://i1257.photobucket.com/albums...ps08c9ff46.jpg https://i1257.photobucket.com/albums...pse3e4f5dd.jpg https://i1257.photobucket.com/albums...ps89a8b024.jpg https://i1257.photobucket.com/albums...pse56a7d8a.jpg https://i1257.photobucket.com/albums...ps9601d1bc.jpg |
Looking good. I managed to get some mudflaps made up pretty similar. Great idea doing the inside of the wheels black, looks spot on and hopefully cleaner between washes. I'll get mine refurbed in the spring. You're making some real progress there.:thumb: I've managed a wash and seal, a new gearknob, and some mudflaps.

top job on the wheels and props for buying what you wanted...enjoy it :)
