Immobiliser problems, Forester 2.0X 54 reg
 

Newbie needing help...

The key fob on my Forester '54 reg recently stopped unlocking the car & starting the engine so I replaced the battery in the key fob, with no result.e

I don't have the immobiliser code so I'm unable to start the car with the keypad or key, meaning my car is now an expensive ornament in my driveway.

Does anyone know how much a Subaru dealer would charge for a new fob & programming?

Have you thought of taking the fob to an Auto Electrician??

I had to resolder mine recently (the metal bit that holds the battery in had separated from the printed circuit board..)
