You've built a really nice clean car, and I get to have a close look when ever I'm at Car and Custom garage! And after reading this thread there is more to it than I realised.

If I can ever emulate this car/thread I will die a happy person. Quite an amazing build.

Cheers mate

She is still in early development stages,

Next stage is to rip appart the rear end as we have tubular frames and rose jointed arms plus ATL fuel cell. Also debating on a gear kit for the 5speed to save weight or gearset in a 6 speed casing. Also cusco diffs throughout.
This should set up ready for the new engine

Done few more events in her as well for some seat time

Ash Webster 14 January 2016 09:39 AM

what FMIC did you use? did it come as a kit or fully custom?

s450oby 14 January 2016 11:15 AM

Unbelievable dude, a credit to you

cjquicksilver 14 January 2016 01:32 PM

The core is a rotated toyo sports cooler and the pipe work is custom made, one from alloy the other from stainless, routed under the headlamps for more direct and less bendy route lol

And thanks for the comments :-)

bustaMOVEs 14 January 2016 02:40 PM

Nice mate, love the chrome inlet and pipes.

what do you mean by rotated? as in 90degrees or just like at a funny angle to better suit pipework? again mega jealous!

cjquicksilver 14 January 2016 02:58 PM

As In normally the pipe work will enter either side of the core at the bottom, but this one is technically upside down to shorten and tidy the look of the cooler pipes

Ash Webster 15 January 2016 07:54 AM

doesn't that affect the performance? although thinking about it now I cant see how it would...

cjquicksilver 15 January 2016 10:58 AM

It shortens the length of the pipes so less heat soak from the engine / cooler charge temps = Yee ha

Chibs 16 January 2016 12:30 AM

Loving the detail on this build. It's a while back, but where did you get your carbon rear firewall & parcel tray? I'm looking for one very similar. Same with your silicon intake pipe

Have you have the car on the scales?

cjquicksilver 16 January 2016 09:01 AM

The carbon firewall and shelf i got from rallytech (not cheap tho :-/ )

Silicon intake was custom made by SFS reinforced more to stop it collapsing under boost

Car hasn't been on the scales yet due to the fact there's still a lot more weight saving to do!
I.e boot coming out, rear frame, even looking at possibly using FRP rear doors etc

jonnyricer2 16 January 2016 10:30 PM

Just awesome!!

cjquicksilver 22 January 2016 10:57 PM

Cheers dude

cjquicksilver 11 May 2016 09:44 PM

rab89 11 May 2016 10:40 PM

cjquicksilver 11 May 2016 11:35 PM
