BBC just broadcast the figures, sparking the issue of deportation. Would seem reasonable to sling any immigrant that breaks the law out and bar them permanently! :nono:

Cue the usual left wing apologists to come on and say it's not true, the figures are skewed, the immigrants have a poor home life so should be expected to offend etc v etc etc...

I wonder how many of those were arrested because they weren't supposed to be here (i.e. an immigrant-only crime) or got arrested and just were later found to be illegally here (expired visa, illegal immigrant, etc.) - that would be interesting to know.

I agree, if you break the law as an immigrant then you MUST face deportation, we can't keep giving free luxuries in prison (better prisons than back home) which gives them the nerve to think 'this is easy, we will carry on etc'.

There are 8.2 million in London, of which 55% are immigrants, so that makes 1.5% of all immigrants in London was arrested, that's quite small proportion.

I have no doubt the figure are true, and yes I agree with the OP if they break the law (obviously not silly misdemeanors) they should be deported.

Stopping their free benefits would slow it all down enormously...wouldn't it Martin!

Locals can do it. Old people who no one wants and cares for, single mothers, STI sufferers, alcoholics and gamblers etc. etc. can do that. UK has its own big issues to carry with the sale of the Big Issue. No excuse for foreign nationals to be around, and add to their issues for the sake of the Big Issue.
