SMELL OF GAS
Hi everybody recently down sized in power by selling my Subaru wrx 1995 classic 302 bhp and bought a Subaru impreza rx 150 bhp 60 plate.My question is when I stop at junctions or traffic lights a strong smell of gas (not petrol)comes from the air vent. ta :confused:

Are you losing any coolant? Anything like mayonnaise down the filler, or overflow necks? |
Are you sure it's not gear oil you can smell?

It could just be exhaust gas,some cars give off an eggy smell from the cat,normally after reversing.
