Blob STI suspension fit a bug STI ?

I have been offered a set of shocks/springs/etc. from an early blobeye STI, but does it fit a bugeye STI ?

I seem to remember that the rears are different, but I'm old and growing increasingly stupid ;)

Can anyone advise please, as pal needs an answer before they go on fleabay.

TIA

Hi Dunx

I'm pretty sure New Age shocks are all the same, just front are different on the 5X114.3"

But early Blob STi shocks with springs will fit yours Bug STi without the problem,as long they're 5X100

Rear are different,if someone want to use them on Classic, but not on the New age

Hi Dunx

Seems I've been not 100% correct :(

It seems that fitting the whole rig is o.k. but swapping parts isn't.

I'll be back !

As i remember the blob rear tops are narrower , the bug ones are same as classic like, with that metal hat for the springs, blob ones dont have them the top os with the rubber thingy together.... The rear springs differ for sure...
