Had major problems when DHL turned to YODEL as they lost and delayed a lot of packages. Now using UPS with no problems.I dont know anyone who has bought something and never got it or there money as i sent all the packages.Last thing i have to say on the matter really if anyone has a problem take it up with either of us

so is it just me, if this has been going on so long why are they allowed to still trade on here ???????

Darren@JDM 02 February 2013 01:32 AM

Because if parts go missing its hardly my fault and refunds are always given and i have many happy customers since i joined 10 years ago as my score would suggest + the guy who caused it all was a fraud hence why he is banned then people just jump on the bandwagon to try and make it look worse than it is.As i say things go missing if they do i have always tried to sort it out

katana man 02 February 2013 01:41 AM

Darren its not just about the so called parts going missing anybody can say parts go missing but when its several large palletised parts thats a different story, its the fact you f*** people about refunding them, do you honestly think i believed yer excuses why the engine didnt arrive the four times you said it would? then the stupid reasons you gave for the refund not being made and the reasons why i was getting refunds of £18 one day and £20 several days later etc etc? if you want i will reveal all them word for word so please dont get me started on this as i will let the full scoobynet community know irrelevant to the fact if you have several good customers or not the fact is you also have several unhappy customers these are the ones that totally outway yer happy ones m8,

lets be honest everybody will always remember the bad points not the good

McFartenplop 02 February 2013 01:43 AM

no, the Hamster was banned for selling parts with Jimmyinrugby last year in 2012.

And just as a matter of interest, why couldnt you refund the full amounts to the above parties when required? What had you done with their money BEFORE the parts they'd paid for had arrived and they were satisfied with their purchase?

Lol the old blame the courier trick, Ive worked in courier business and even had my own and was contracted to a few big company's and the customer would always blame us when we delivered and I always put them right so they knew the truth, the parcel was set yesterday as I showed them on paperwork/invoice and said most of stuff gets delivered next day, you'll be surprised how many company's blame couriers, but in fact it's their laziness in sending out parcel.
Yes one or two gets delayed but only by a day or two, and damaged or lost/stolen.

And to say you hadn't enough money in PayPal to refund??? Wtf I never have money in my PayPal but its still used to pay for stuff, transfers out of bank if no money in there automatically.

addi monster 02 February 2013 12:27 PM

They are a F*****G joke of a company.

I got stung 3 times by these clownes due to them trading under several names (Mods ban the cnut's).

I agree, Its obviously been going on too long and too many excuses have been given:brickwall

Busta, You need the funds in the paypal account to issue a refund, It wont let it take it off a card or from you bank, They physical have to be in there for the refund to go through, Saying that it only takes 3 days to credit your paypal account so still no excuse.

You drive a pink car so you're point is invalid

ps, you can send money through paypal without it being in you're account so all his excuses are a total load of shyte.

thats really not true, all you need is a credit or debit card registered with paypal as a payment method and this is done in seconds on paypal site, end of the day there is absolutely no excuse

katana man 02 February 2013 02:19 PM

sorry addi monster didnt notice the bit on your post that says exactly what i have written

Ah I see, well then transfer money from bank to PayPal then, simple. Or don't do the refund process and send money via a pay a person transaction instead.
I've never had to give refund in my life as I don't scam people:D so I won't know :)

Ive been using Ebay and PayPal since 1999 and i have never scammed anyone either but i have had to issue a refund when i had no credit in the actual account and it wont let you do it.

You can send money yes but would you considering you would still be entitled to a refund via paypal for the original transaction, So in theory you refund from the debit card/credit card etc...Then the OP puts a paypal claim in and gets refunded again on the original transaction as this has not been reversed.

You see my point, :thumb:

This does not it anyway excuse the seller for constant excuses and no refunds though, Customer service is what its all about and its clear there is none.

banny sti 02 February 2013 03:43 PM

I use interparcel to send parcels regularly and they give you a tracking number as soon as you place the order, most stuff arrives the next day after its collected not had any issues and the buyer has peace of mind with the tracking details :)

For someone who does it as a living there is zero excuse about stuff going missing or not turning up on time, I always stress to the buyer any issues with the items send them back and full refund is given straight way.

bustaMOVEs 02 February 2013 04:58 PM

Well irrelevant to all this, we all know the seller has used nemerous accounts in the past and had unhappy threads before so says a lot, you might of been trading for a while but through diffrent names.
And it's all about the after sales care that counts on a good business and here there obviously there is non!
Why havnt the mods dealt with this guy from before? Really is AA money subscription that important to the admin? Better to have a good reputation rather than a forum riddled with scammers, lost count how many people have been done over in the short time I've been on here, as to why I rarely buy owt, just buy new from known company's. Less hassle IMO.

cjquicksilver 02 February 2013 06:14 PM

I bought wheels form him n they turned out to be buckled, took me about 4 months to get any money back and even then wasn't full balance, I got fed up in the end and took some parts he had for sale in place of cash after neumerous pms and sending money requests through PayPal!
Wasn't much fun!

tubbytommy 02 February 2013 06:25 PM

is darren related to jimmy in rugby??

uk_99 02 February 2013 06:28 PM

authorised advertiser means nothing on here.

all it means is they pay scoobynet to scam people and scoobynet turn a blind eye.

it offers zero protection to any of us lot, this was confirmed when they let a well know banned member rejoin as xspec and try to flog stuff.

MattyB1983 02 February 2013 07:57 PM

Dont know what all the fuss is about... I bought a rad off darren and it arrived within two days.

It had a fcuking great hole in it and pi55ed water out the first time I fired the car up but hey, at least it arrived quickly.

How these monkeys aren't banned from selling on here is beyond me. LOL at him biggin his trade score up, wow 39 positive comments in 10 years of trading. Says it all really.

equinox92 02 February 2013 08:05 PM

Full refund received. Yes it took a long time, but i must applaud Darren for his communication. Not once did i feel like he took my money and ran, but there was a point where i just needed the money back and needed it ASAP.

uk_99 02 February 2013 08:21 PM

so he just borrows the money ? lol

poor excuse, if he owes you money, pay up straight away in full, a tenner here and there is not acceptable.

The Pink Ninja 03 February 2013 12:50 AM

Result....Only took just over 6 months to get the refund :thumb:

BadBadLeeroyBrown 28 February 2013 04:40 PM

No wishing to stir too much, but had major problems on another forum, bought from them twice, 1st item was dowpipes went straight into the scrappy, thought it must be just be being too fussy, next item got lost but did get refund ............... 6 months and LOADS of calls and PMs later:brickwall would never use again or recomend

PU. 17 March 2013 11:28 AM

Looks like I have to wait another 5 months before my issue is resolved.
They only shipped 1 out of 3 items (after ~30 days after cleared payment) and they try to tell me the other 2 items have been sent back to them for already 3 times by now. Yeah right.
The one item that did arrive was a pair of STI lights which were supposed to be in very good conditon. They never mentioned the wiring loom being cut and put back together with plastic tape and cheap ass AMP connectors. In each light there was also a big hole in the back where you can stick your thumb in. Darren claims that he was not aware of this.

Wonder how long it's going to take before I receive the other 2 items, or get all my money back.

MattyB1983 17 March 2013 11:44 AM

MODS.......

Stop being so fcuking greedy and ban this utter monkey. Its your members who are important not the money that advertisers pay you.
Its a complete and utter joke how you allow him to trade on here, your allowing YOUR members to get ripped off.

SORT IT !!!!!!

Should rename this the Deja vu thread :thumb:

Yep, please put your side of the story up, as I know my part of the story is right.

Darren made me another promise. Let's hope he can manage to get it done this time.
