Liquid gasket ok for decat exhaust?

Got a 3" japspeed full decat off these boards, was promised gaskets and bolts but very much let down by the seller

Question is would I get away with using liquid gaskets on the install, or should I go the extra mile and try and source the proper gaskets? I have emailed japspeed to see if they sell them separate; any other suggestions of where to source them and expected price would be gratefully received!

surely they are just normal 3inch gaskets? either way you should use proper gaskets

as said, your local motor factors will have 1, if you have the original and then measure the size you need of your exhaust, tell them that and they will sort you.

I got some off eBay very cheep. I've also used high temp silicon which also done the job very well

But don't use silicon before the cat

Do you have a link to a similar set that I could look at m8?

Cheers

Yes, don't use a silicon based sealant up-stream of any sensors.
