Accurist Chronograph
My 30th is coming up next month and the mrs wants to buy me something nice, but I have told her not to spend too much, as she has already booked a night away in a posh hotel.
So, even though I struggle to justify any spend on a watch that is over £20, I quite like the look of these watches: or Would like a Citizen Eco Drive, but don't want her spending silly money. Any thoughts/opinions appreciated. :thumb: |
I like the look of the first one

the first one looks best.
|
I prefer the second, not keen on the strap on the first one.

There is my dilema.
Just can't decide. |
Second one.

Second one if you scratch it jobs over |
It's your 30th!! So go for something special, go for a Citizens Eco Drive if you'd like one.

Put a poll up, get the one that wins after a few days :)

Another vote for eco drive, plenty of deals out there, got mine half price in Argos.

Look at www.creationwatches.com. Highly recommended/

I just love the idea of someone thinking any Citizen watch is "silly money". Have you seen the prices of, say, Tags? I mean real ones, not the one you bought of some bloke in a pub who was getting rid of the last of his stock. I understand the point on not wanting to spend much on a watch, but just the same.

If we were rolling in it, then no, £200 on a watch would be nothing.
We are just watching to pennies. The mrs even offered to to get me a tag on 0% finance from Goldsmiths. £25 a month for 4 years for a watch? Erm, no thanks! I would rather put the cash towards a well deserved holiday. Back on topic, I think she has gone for the silver one as it was on offer at Argos. :D |

Although I voted for the second one. If I were to pick something not in your shortlist I would go for an eco-drive. I'm wearing mine now and got it for half price at Argos

Have the eco drive, even if you pay £200 without a deal, i'll bet you'll wear it everyday so you will get your moneys worth! |
