MY05 UK Sti Widetrack Blob Eye* E6 SUB very low mileage

SOLD SOLD SOLD
MY05 UK Sti Widetrack Blob Eye E6 SUB

Hi Gang, Unfortunatly for me I have had to make a big decision and it is time to sell my new age... this is a fantastic car in many ways and by far the best I have owned. It was lightly modded when I bought the vehicle nearly 18 months ago and I have tweeked what was there and added a couple of things along with my usual cleaning habits.

The car now shows just about 17,500 miles on the clock which is very low for around a 7 year old vehicle. I will list all the mods carried out but for a quick over view since I have owned it I have spent quite a while on the suspension set up, it is running BC Coilovers and I have uprated the rear anti roll bar plus rear strut then my mechanic spent some time getting the set up just right, we lowered the front and got the geometry set up perfect as now I feel it is crisp and clean and very precise. I have also added the RCM induction kit with a heat shield imported from the states which looks 100% OEM, finished the Miltek system off adding the resonated centre section in order to keep the volume down which is the way I prefer it, I then fitted the RCM 310L fuel pump for safety. I then finished this off with a Bob Rawle re-map and we are now looking at an approx figure of 340/330

Most recently I have removed the centre console sprayed it with Plastidip rubber coating and added a PSI Data monitor. Visually the rear windows and sun visor are all done in a mid/light tint and the car has been pro detailed, I have also spent time under the car cleaning and de greasing so now it looks spotless all over. The car has seen a little paint as I had the rear bumper painted along with the rear of the boot lid but I made sure this time around that it was the best I could achieve and looking at it you would never know at all.

Not to forget the spec c roof vent which needs little introduction :D

Firstly a pic or two.....

The cam belt was changed just before I had the car by the main dealer plus it had the full fluid service, there is quite a lot of paperwork history and also mot's to back up the mileage shown on the car. The car has an MOT until 18th May 2013 and is due a service in April 2013, the road tax is up until March 2013.

This model offers the Widetrack set up on the new PCD of 114 plus has a DCCD adjuster on the gearbox. As said this is by far the best car I have ever owned, not an easy choice to sell but I have had to make it never the less.

The E6 SUB reg number will be staying on the car and after looking on the dvla site it's worth in the region of £600.

I will be at Forge Motorsport Action day Castle Combe this Saturday 7th September. Also I will be at the Pro Drive Day on the 7th October where the car will be available to view.

Any questions please don't hesitate to ask :)

Kind Regards
Simon

Lovely car Simon, I'm sure you will sell it in no time, and understand it must have been a hard decision to sell. I would have snapped this up last year!

Top car from a top guy :)

The MY05 STi is probably the best out-of-the box Newage around, and with the upgrades on this, it's made it even better!

Good luck Si, I know you'll miss this car for sure and I know you won't have come to this decision lightly! I can also vouch for the hole in the roof :D

cronic1 05 September 2012 12:53 PM

Silver Scooby Sport 05 September 2012 05:55 PM

I'm bumping this back up as just after posting the advert I decided to step back and re think as I was in two minds what to do as in sell or keep and I froze the thread but after serious thought I have decided it is the decision for me at this time :) I did think I would leave it until spring as I SORN the car normally from Dec until March and it gets covered and parked away over the winter months but I decided to dip my toe in now to see if anyone out there is looking for a good one, even if I do say so myself :thumb: so back up for now to gauge interest. If nothing is moving due to the time of year I will SORN for Jan and Feb then the car will come back out in March as I don't use it in winter months and we shall see how things shape up

Simon :D

Lovely looking car. How many owners has it had? I'm sure it will handle beautifully with that suspension setup but has the ride become harder / crashier as a result?

oHUTCHYo 15 November 2012 08:42 PM

Where are you located mate?

According to the reg doc I am owner number five, I have paperwork with a couple of names on to track back and you never know the garage may have registered it for sales figures which could count for one before it went anywhere.

The ride is perfect I feel, firstly I have driven a Hawkeye quite a few times owned by my mechanic and he had Prodrive springs fitted and it felt like it bounced on the road a lot but mine with the coil overs is very different it hugs the road feels lower and precise, I spent a lot of time getting the set up as I like it I'm around mid way on the 32 point setting so it will go a lot softer if required.

SpecC_Chris 16 November 2012 06:39 PM

Gorgeous :)

V7Amz 16 November 2012 10:36 PM

I doubt this'll be available in January when funds are ready.

It looks an amazing car and good spec for a quick road car.

Silver Scooby Sport 17 November 2012 04:30 PM

Thanks gents, I've had some positive interest so far all will keep you up to date with things.

KAS35RSTI 18 November 2012 02:31 AM

Very nice

Silver Scooby Sport 26 November 2012 04:59 PM

Just to update everyone the car has been SOLD :) it went within the week to the first guy that phoned me and arranged a viewing.... I must say a big thank you to everyone that has messaged me about the car and that were genuinely interested in viewing and buying, it's a pity I did not have 3 or maybe 4 of these as I am sure I could have sold them over the last week.

You know I will add I read some horror stories regarding selling a car on this forum and peoples long journies to view and find a miss advertised heap of junk plus the sellers stories of tyre kickers and joy riders but I have to say I've had nothing but positive contacts over the last week and all from a few members that have no posts at all, the silent gang as I call them and it has been refreshing to see this... so many thanks guys you all know who you are :thumb:

No fixed plans here now I'm going to see what I feel like doing in the spring.

Regards
Simon :)

DannyBoy007 26 November 2012 05:52 PM
