Crank pulley removal help!!!
Hi all I have some CDF pulleys to install and was wondering what's the easiest way to do this on my driveway as I know the crank can be a pain in the a***
And also is the pas pump easy to remove and replace?? Thanks in advance |
when I took mine off the crank was easiest, it was the alternator that was a pain in the ass. Just leave the belts on and you should be able to crack the nuts off.

Nuts off the crank pully was pretty easy. But the pulley seems to be seized on tight. Will a few hits with the hammer help it lol

Or measure the distance between the holes, get some bolts welded to a bar and use it to lock the pulley, I borrowed one. JDM car's have different distances between the holes to a UK car. Subaru do have a special tool if you know someone who's very friendly at the local Dealer. Oh and mine was a JDM V5 STi. |
Thanks for the suggestions people all done now :)
