A 3-port has, er, 3 ports:
"NC" (normally closed): left to VTA (pref pointing downwards) "NO" (normally open): goes to turbo compressor cover's bleed nipple. "COM" (common): goes to wastegate actutor's input nipple You don't have to worry about any restrictor pill when you map in a 3 port (which you will have to do). Just make sure any "bled air return" port on the airbox is plugged airtight e.g. with a suitable sized screw, etc, before mapping. Unless of course you're gonna opt for a naked cone filter. |

It is advisable to have your car mapped rather than just bolt one on, as they can give better control over the boost when mapped in correctly. You have pm:thumb: |
