max power on sti top mont?/tuning advice
Hi all,
I have a blob eye sti wide track , looking at fitting these parts (list below), should this set up make 450 bhp on my car? and have i missed anything , also the only thing I can think will hold it back is TMIC , but i want to keep the car looking standard . so want to keep the sti top mount , is around 450bhp still acheviable on the sti top mount? md321t turbo gt spec headers and special up pipe 800cc injectors 3" exhaust/decathrc fuel pump mac 3 port boost solenoin simtek ecu |

Its not, just advisable to go down the FMIC route.....There is a guy on here(cant remember his name) was running 450+ on a top mount. |

so the standard sti top mount will be ok then?
( I know it would benfit with a FMIC , but just want to keep the car looking standard ish) I have a charge temp gauge , so can keep a eye on things thanks for reply's |

My Hawk is running 406/406 on a TMIC, But I have got a Perrin FMIC to fit, so I can get the best out of the SC46!

BigBez (Tim) is running nigh on 500bhp on a top mount.

i managed 393 with my standard tmic and a lm450 and other bits and bobs.
we couldnt crack the 400 barrier.... |

Not at all mate. Harvey up pipe really helps, as does the mapping. Mine made 1 Bar @ 3100Rpm from what I remember

Still haven't decided what to do as like you, I'd prefer to keep a top mount, although prepared to go to something like the Hyperflow TMIC. JohnD |

I then went for it on fmic as the MD321T deserved better. What's the car used for bud? |
Meth would have to be used to get 440+ on a TMIC, either in the fuel or water/ meth injection.
Certainly know of 443hp, Blobeye STI, Hyperflow top mount, SC46, Syvecs, 20% meth in fuel. Trev |
