Turned down for a permanent job because it pays £15K p/a less than my last contract role! Their reason is that they think I'll jump ship as soon as the contract market picks up... :brickwall
I'd rather earn something than eat away at my savings. |
At least you can turn down jobs. Lots of people don't even get the chance to do that.

To be honest mate, having just been through the ball ache of recruiting I can completely understand their attitude. Not fair but it's cost be about two weeks to get the roles sorted, interview, offer reject etc and then I'm looking at about £4000 each before they are up to speed .. plus any courses they attend.
Sounds like you're a bit above that role money wise. |
